1 World Globe WIN!

I recieved my WIN from:

I told you in my other post that I had won one of their Gemstone Globes. Well, I got it!

It looks like it was damaged a tiny bit during transit, but, it is not big enough to take away from the beauty. It is just a small chip at the top from the axis bar getting shoved into the Globe.

But, seeing it in person and how BIG it is, made me gasp. I was not expecting it to look so huge and the gemstones are captivating to look at! Especially the Jades and Mother of Pearl.

But, they do have a contest that runs quarterly where you can win a prize. Sorry, it looks like the prize they have now is a small globe, only 4 inches. Mine is 13 inches...HUGE!

It stands what seems to be 2 ft tall, but, is only about a foot and a half.

I have wanted one of these all my life since I first saw one in someones home as a young girl.

I believe then, since it was massive, they were extemely expensive. But, this was a luxury I could never afford, especially with kids.

Now they are gone and we get to have one!

I actually won the contest in June of '08! I hope it does not take as long for me to recieve it! But, they have the most beautiful globes on this site and I would go visit and just drool! Hoping one day I would be able to be extravegant for once and buy one that I did not find at some garage sale or Goodwill. LOL! You know me...if it is not on clearance or I can't find it at Goodwill...I did not buy it!
